I think it was my brother who (half) jokingly asked if H knew what he was getting into when he proposed. I love good food, and I love to eat. I even skim the cooking shows and recipes and cookbooks from time to time. My patience for the whole process of meal preparation, though, is not very great.
Not long ago MyBlogSpark and Old El Paso reintroduced me to an old and easy favorite of mine. taco night! I remember loving the "taco bar" in college. We love tacos, and I plan to get Mexican fare back into my rotation of easy-peasy menu items. The Old El Paso lineup of products includes chiles, dinner kits, dips and sides, enchilada sauce, refried beans, seasoning mixes, shells, taco sauce and salsa. There are endless recipe variations you can play with, like easy fish tacos. Everyone can decorate their meal with fixin's to their liking.

I love homemade nachos. But, I usually use the taco seasoning in a pot of pinto beans. Yummy!
I have one teen and one twenty something boy plus the hubs and I and we all love mexican food. I make tacos and burritos quite frenquently. We fix all the fixins and let them make their own. Kinda like your taco bar. Everyone Loves it.
I love nachos - or at home, quesadillas
I love black beans, tomatoes,corn, red and yellow peppers, mixed with Penzey's salsa seasoning eaten with tortilla chips.
My favorite Mexican meal is chicken fajita's and Mexican rice. Although I like most any of it, being Mexican is my favorite type of food.

Well I wanted to be creative on our busy days and created a recipe for the crockpot...chicken/beef enchiladas with taco seasonings and soft taco shells. This meal is a perfect ending to the week usually on Fridays...very tasty.

traditionally, we do taco tuesdays at our house. usually bean burritos with all the fixings and a big plate of nachos! yummo!
I love ANY Mexican food! I'd have to go with Taco Tuesday! I don't know if this is "normal" but my daughter & I both love avacado on our tacos & nachos!

My daughter is just getting to the age when she is interested is starting to help out in the kitchen and prepare food, so I plan to make taco night special by having my daughter help out to make her first tacos.
